Chesapeake Plein Air landscape painting is part the Chesapeake Plein air series, is an original oil painting by Deborah Chapin was painted from material painted at the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge, which I worked on for 10 years. The original painting “Tranquility” was exhibited at the Arts for the Parks exhibition.

About the Chesapeake Plein air Paintings:  I painted 10 years in the Blackwater wildlife Refuge.  I had continuous showings of these works each year as well as work from other locations. In painting over 300 original oil paintings which included wetland grasses, birds of all types, and landscapes.
