The Past Week – Chapin Newsletter Update
Chapin Studio Newsletter – Update: This Past Week
This past week has been busy one.
This Past Week This past week has been a busy one. I revamped my website https://gallery.deborahchapinfineart.com after having discussed it with a consultant. *Changed the overall color to newsprint drawing paper. *After watching her navigate and her jetting about, I realized that people need to be able to see the painting in two views on the category page so they could see the context photo and also the painting close up so I added a flip image for the category pages (swipe right). * I also added an AR (augmented reality). Not all work is fully loaded but gradually adding new work and previous work. You can see the work I’ve added AR to on my AR Portfolio tag https://gallery.deborahchapin.com/product-tag/ar-portfolio/
I Painted at the @CoastalMaineBotanicalGardens Saturday morning. I added several parts of the tour onto the story board. I couldn’t go LIVE unfortunately. I also started painting floral paintings in my own garden one was a white bearded iris and the second was a Siberian Caesar’s brother. I’m finishing up these pieces and work from May ASAP so keep an eye out for new works. Then I am back in the marines.

The challenge
Getting to Know Me
As part of the journey through the coast of Maine, getting to know the coast of Maine and people getting to know me, I am doing a series of LIVE on Instagram painting sessions. I’m naturally reticent to be in front of the camera but willing to appear a little foolish as I learn how to do this. Technology not always being cooperative and some days forgetting my words at home.

Thank you for your kind words
Your Work is so beautiful and your writing as well. I’m looking forward to seeing your new book about your Garden and the paintings that evolve from it.
