Chapin Newsletter Update ~ Moon over Pemaquid Beach

This week I braved the cold weather and breeze and made a trip out to Pemaquid Beach to capture the moon. It is not always possible to plein air paint in -3 degrees and even though I was bundled up like the kids in Christmas Story it was not enough to stay out very long. Never the less I was rewarded for my efforts with a beautiful pattern of salt crystals and the the moon and so I’m embarking on a studio painting from the materials. If you would like to see some of the photos and videos from the site check out my bigscreen page and use the PW Moonset to play the video. I hope to have a painting from this session soon and eagerly awaiting the next go around.

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what you’ve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. You’ve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

Try looking at the videos attached the link? and it is only 1 paragraph long.
