This piece was one of several that I did in preparation for the larger oil painting Vagues contra les Roches I tested out several locations and angles for the final painting and also at the same time practiced the color and wave action indigenous to the area.  When the final piece was being executed it was a stormy week so the surf was very active and spectacular but I was ready to tackle the job.  All work was executed on location (en plein air).   Contact Us About This Piece please include the title in your subject line.
